Difficult times manifest strong people, people of honor, words and deeds. Dmytro Zabirchenko, a head coach of “Ternopil” basketball club, decided to sell a precious sports trophy the other day – a championship gold ring of the Super League, season 2010/2011, received during his performance in BC "Budivelnyk", and donate the proceeds to charity.

"Many athletes nowadays are auctioning off their trophies, shirts, shoes, etc. I decided to join them too. I won't pretend it doesn't mean much to me, but the values are changing over time... Especially in the times of war. All proceeds will go to Ukrainian Crarity Foundations, one of which is our CF "Ternopil". - explained his intentions Dmytro.

Within days many people have joined such a good enterprise, and the lot had been bought for 400,000 UAH by Igor Komendat, the president of “Ternopil” basketball club, who eventually decided to leave the ring to Dmytro Zabirchenko, whom it rightfully belongs to. Dmytro, for its part, has donated all the proceeds to charities, 200,000 UAH of which were donated directly to “Ternopil” Charity Foundation. Each contribution we make to support each other and a country is a step closer to victory!
